Machine **wash in cold water** and **lay flat to dry** is always best; **low temp** dryer setting when unable to air dry. This helps protect the life and the shape of your Cuts. We also always recommend washing your item(s) before wear.  

  

**Wash Like with Like**

  

We recommend that you:

  

**Wash like colors with like colors.** Do NOT mix colors in the wash. Wash white shirts ONLY with other white shirts. Wash bright color shirts ONLY with other bright color shirts. Wash dark color shirts ONLY with other dark color shirts.

  

Wash bright and dark colored Cuts alone before you wear them.

  

When wet, keep bright and dark colored Cuts away from other fabrics.

  

Turn your Cuts inside out and wash with similar fabrics and avoid anything abrasive, such as denim or garments with Velcro® or zippers. 

  

Wash your Cuts separate from your towels. The cotton fluff (found on towels) can get attached to the premium Cuts fabric.

  

**Dye Shirt Care** 

Dye shirts require special care. Every garment dyed product is dyed individually. No two are exactly alike. Please note that with garment dyed products, color variation is an acceptable part of the process. These shirts require special care. Dyed garments may cause colors to spread. To limit this, **do not wash with other garments** and always wash in cold water. 

  

**Cuts and Fabric Softener and/or Bleach Don’t Mix Well**

  

Avoid using fabric softener or bleach when washing your Cuts because it coats the fabric and can cause it to break down.

**How should I store my Cuts?** 

Hoodies, which are heavier, are not recommended to hang unless you use a padded hanger with a wider shoulder.  

  

Shirts can be folded or hung however, if you decide to hang the shirts the hangers with padding or felt touch will go a long way in preventing bumps from developing on the shirts.
